Product Description
DEEP presses are perfected with 3 decades of design innovation:
The design of DEEP presses has evolved over 30 years, and as a result of improvements over the years, our presses simply work better! Our design is optimized to minimize effort needed to press the dough of puri. So you don’t have to press hard on the lever, or lean on the press! The other presses for making Puris have to handle more pressure. We make them extra strong by using additional metal, to ensure robustness and reliability. Unlike other brands, we do not cut corners!
Product Detail Specification:
About Working Diameter:
16-cm | 6.30-inch surface are the perfect size for press puri, pathiri, empandas,gol-gappa.
Product Meterial:
Made from solid cast iron, not from wood or aluminum:
Cast iron presses are superior to presses made of wood or aluminum. They are robust and can work for years without wearing out.
Stainless Steel inner plates for smooth operation and cleanliness:
The inside pressing surfaces of cheaper presses are made out of wooden laminate, which are prone to deformation and cracking. But the inside plates in DEEP presses are made out of stainless steel for smooth, reliable and clean operation.
Gives even thickness every time:
Product Dimentions:Length-8.67 inch Width-6.5 inch Height-2 inch Lever(Handle):7.6 inch. The DEEP presses have strong levers that are easy to hold and press, to facilitate thin puris. When the press is opened, the top plate and the lever remain within arms’ reach. This makes it very easy to repeat the operation rapidly without fumbling around.
How to use?
1.Prepare a Softer Dough.
First for making Poori | Puri | Pathiri prepare the dough as per your need and Divide prepared dough into golf-sized balls, about 1.25” wide.
NOTE: Please make sure your dough is softer than usual.. Add bit of oil (don’t knead) and keep it for 20-30 mins before making puri.
2.Use Plastic Paper liner for no sticking..
You will need 2 squares of plastic to keep your puri from sticking to the press. Place them between the dough and your puri press.
3.Press to Flatten.
Fold the top plate down, then fold the lever arm over the top plate and press down firmly, so the weight of the top plate flattens the dough.
4.Flip and Press Again if need.
Lift the lever arm and top plate, and check if your puri is thin enough. For a thinner puri, flip the dough over and press it again. Then remove the puri from plastic sheet and transfer directly to a heated griddle, or stack the uncooked puri on a plate with a liner between each one.
Don’t wash it, Keep away from water!
