Oleic acid is great for replenishing dry, aging skin and is believed to be a great ingredient to avoid or repair it. It penetrates the skin to moisturise below the skin’s surface. As it is high in antioxidants, it also helps with anti-aging. Oleic acid is considered the more stable form of fatty acids. That’s why it is also included in many cosmetic products to enhance the texture and shield some other delicate ingredients like antioxidants from too much light and air exposure.
